On July 7, Maoming City suffered extreme rainfall. The city suffered flooding that had not been seen in decades. The low-lying areas of the city were flooded, with a large number of villages, houses, and cars being submerged. Some of the elderly needed to be rescued by firefighters with a lifeboat. The storage reservoirs were forced to release floods, and floodwaters of the Xiaodongjiang River raged past...

At 11:00 a.m. on July 8, Mr. Zhang Zhicheng, CEO and Executive Director of Ubridge, donated RMB 1 million to the Red Cross Society of China Maoming Branch and expressed condolences to the front-line disaster relief officials and rescue workers in response to the calling of the Maoming Municipal People’s Government on behalf of Mr. Li Lvhua, Chairman of Guangdong Ubridge and Chairman of Maoming Enterprise Confederation. The fund will be used for disaster relief and post-disaster construction to help the victims through difficulties.
