On the morning of May 12, the 2024 “Green Guangdong - Haoxin Forest” public welfare tree-planting activity organized by the Maoming Federation of Trade Unions, Maoming Forestry Bureau, Maoming Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the People's Government of Dianbai District was grandly held at the China’s First Beach Resort in Maoming City. More than 1,000 people from enterprises, institutions, chambers of commerce, and enthusiastic citizens of Maoming City participated in this tree-planting activity.
Coconut trees were chosen for this activity. They are beautiful, verdant, and upright. These deep-rooted and leafy trees symbolize good weather and tenacity and are adaptable, fast-growing, wind resistant, and sand-fixing. The coastal forest formed by coconut trees can effectively resist typhoons, and maintain soil and water. Ubridge actively participated in the on-site pledge of saplings and organized staff to participate in the planting activity.
People worked together to set the saplings, earth them up, watering them, and put up the nameplates for the activity.
The early summer sun brought heat to the beach and the passionate tree-planting people, who were wielding spades, shoveling soil, and carrying water. People grouped up and divided the work to cooperate energetically. Some parents brought their children to participate in this public welfare activity on weekends, happily planting green plants together. After the joint efforts, the newly planted, neatly arranged saplings showed great vitality.
