Information Disclosure on Environmental Impact Assessment of the 500,000 Tons/Year High-end Enriched TiO2 Materials Project (200,000 Tons/Year Lithium Iron Phosphate Project for New Energy Anode Material and its Supporting 500,000 Tons/Year High-end Enriched TiO2 Material Project Phase I) of Maoming South China Titanium Valley New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (First Public Notice)
In compliance with the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment (Ministry Decree No. 4), public participation in the environmental impact assessment of the 500,000 Tons/Year High-end Enriched TiO2 Material Project (200,000 Tons/Year Lithium Iron Phosphate Project for New Energy Anode Material and its Supporting 500,000 Tons/Year High-end Enriched TiO2 Materials Project Phase I) of Maoming South China Titanium Valley New Material Technology Co., Ltd. needs to be carried out in accordance with the lawto understand the public's attitude towards the construction of the project and their opinions and suggestions on the environmental protection aspects of the project, and to accept the supervision of the public. Project Name: 500,000 Tons/Year High-end Enriched TiO2 Material Project (200,000 Tons/Year Lithium Iron Phosphate Project for New Energy Anode Material and its Supporting 500,000 Tons/Year High-end Enriched TiO2 Materials Project Phase I) of Maoming South China Titanium Valley New Material Technology Co., Ltd.
Project Overview: Maoming South China Titanium Valley New Material Technology Co., Ltd. intends to build the new 200,000 Tons/Year Lithium Iron Phosphate Project for New Energy Anode Material and its Supporting 500,000 Tons/Year High-end Enriched TiO2 Materials Project Phase I at Lot XQ-D1-25 of West District, Maoming Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone. The Phase I, which will produce 500,000 tons of high-end enriched TiO2 material per year, is designed to use titanium concentrate as the main raw material and adopts the reduction roasting process to produce reduced ilmenite, and reduction-acid leaching method and self-developed reduction-rusting method to produce high-end enriched TiO2 material (synthetic rutile). Its by-products include iron oxide and ferrous sulfate.
Production scale: 500,000 tons/year high-end enriched TiO2 materials.
