Public Notice of the Draft for Comments in the Environmental Impact Report on the First Stage of the South China Titanium Valley Project Phase I (Second Public Notice)
Maoming South China Titanium Valley New Material Technology Co., Ltd. intends to build Phase I of the ‘South China Titanium Valley’ project in Area XQ-D1-18-01 of West District, Maoming Hi-Tech Zone. The facilities to be constructed are a 500,000 tons/year beach placer beneficiation production system and a 500,000 tons/year high-end enriched TiO2 material (synthetic rutile) production system. The environmental impact assessment of Phase I of the project was undertaken by the No.203 Research Institute of Nuclear Industry. In accordance with the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment, the Draft for Comments in the Environmental Impact Report on the First Stage of the South China Titanium Valley Project Phase I is hereby made public to solicit comments and suggestions from the public on this project.
