Our company intends to build an “integrated titanium and zirconium whole industry chain” project - the South China Titanium Valley Whole Industry Chain Comprehensive Project (hereinafter referred to as South China Titanium Valley Project) in Maoming High-tech Zone. According to the planning, the construction of the “South China Titanium Valley” project will be implemented in two phases. The first stage of the South China Titanium Valley Project Phase I is mainly for the construction of the titanium industry chain upstream production system, including a 500,000 tons/year beach placer beneficiation production system and a 500,000 tons/year high-end enriched TiO2 material materials (synthetic rutile) production system.
The first stage of the South China Titanium Valley Project Phase I is located in the XQ-D1-18-01 site in the western part of the Maoming High-tech Development Zone, Dianbai District, Maoming City.
The environmental impact assessment of this project was undertaken by the No.203 Research Institute of Nuclear Industry. The Environmental Impact Report on the First Stage of the South China Titanium Valley Project Phase I has been completed and is being submitted to the ecological and environmental authorities for approval in accordance with procedures.
According to the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment, the full text of the Environmental Impact Report on the First Stage of the South China Titanium Valley Project Phase I and the Explanation for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment for the First Stage of the South China Titanium Valley Project Phase I are hereby made public.
